Investment firms still stitch vendor feeds, administrator and custodian files, and internal books together with spreadsheets and point tools. 1. Ingest: Connect market and reference vendors, internal systems, administrators, custodians, and brokers. Bring in structured and unstructured sources including private-markets files and documents into one governed environment.
2. Validate and manage exceptions: Apply quality and business rules. Surface breaks in a central exception-management workspace so operations can work exceptions, not inboxes.
3. Match, enrich, and master: Build a golden copy across the domains you need, including security, product, and entity masters, with matching, enrichment, and mastering rules configured in the UI.
4. Govern: Four-eye approvals, access controls, cell-level lineage, and audit trail are applied to the same records and pipelines as the work, not in email or outside the access model.
5. Distribute: Publish trusted data downstream to the systems that run the firm: portfolio, accounting, risk, reporting, and analytics.

Unstructured and private markets

Private markets data is irregular, untimely, and often unstructured.
